Peggy, I have a soft spot in my heart for celebrities who appeared on Sesame Street, especially in the earlier days. Apparently now it is somewhat of a feather in a celebrity cap to be on the show. This past year I had the pleasure of hearing Caroll Spinney (a.k.a. Big Bird & Oscar) speak at an educators' conference. He was telling about a young popular performer who was EXTREMELY rude to everyone and simply didn't get it. At the end he came up to Mr. Spinney and said, "My bandmates say I am supposed to apologize to you." Clearly doing it for the wrong reasons.
 

Okay, I'll take the bait for a few of the ones that stood out to me: John Candy and Andrea Martin (I think) when they were with Second City TV. Keith Hernandez and Mookie Wilson (I think) of the NY Mets. PeeWee Herman is too obvious.
